IF you had an electrical issue, (sensor maybe) you would get a code, for sure. Also, if there was a fuel pressure issue you'd get a code. Can't think of anything else atm, 'cept do try blanking the egr as Purple suggests, but don't use thin aluminium as the exhaust heat will just burn through it.
